The Lost Voices trilogy by Sarah Porter: Abused girls turning into vengeful sirens. Until the unyielding idealist Lucette comes into the picture.

The Books of the Raksura by Martha Wells: If you want to read a book series that feels truly fantastical this definitely fits the bill.

From Unseen Fire by Cass Morris: Might just have soft soft for Greco/Roman settings in general. This entry is perhaps one of the best researched. The characters are portrayed as people of that era not of the now.

Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller:: It is worth the praise it gets. It truly follow the Greek account not the Roman additions like Achilles heel. This book actually has far more romance scenes than Circe. Love the irony.

Circe by Madeline Miller: This book combines literary fantasy with Greek Soap Opera seamlessly. I may just have a weakness for Greek myths
